What is a CDE?
CDEs or Career Development Events are competitive events that mirror career skills. These events allow FFA members to develop and demonstrate their knowledge, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Agricultural Business Management - Competition that builds knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills necessary to successfully manage a farm or pursue farm business management careers
Agricultural Education - Goal is to enable members to explore the field of Ag Ed
Agricultural Mechanics - Members compete to display knowledge and skills related to Ag mechanics ranging from welding to shop safety
Agricultural Sales - Evaluates skills essential to be successful in the Ag Sales field. Members will sell a chosen product to sell to a panel of judges
Food Science and Technology - Event promotes food science and technology related to the food industry and to assist students in developing practical knowledge of principles used in a team decision-making process
